Melanie Broder is a writer and marketing consultant based in Los Angeles.

Her fiction has appeared in The Common, and her essays and criticism have appeared in Public Books, Reading in Translation, and Bustle.

She has taught Creative Writing at Columbia University and at the TUMO Center in Armenia.

She is currently freelancing as a writer for software companies while working on her first novel.
